Directions

Directions to the field - from the I-64 (St. Albans) Exit 44, travel down the exit ramp to the stop light on Route 817 (Old Rt. 35).  Turn left at the traffic signal and travel north on Route 817 toward Winfield.  Follow the highway exactly 5.7 miles.  You will pass by John Amos Power Plant.  When you have traveled 5.7 miles, look for a gravel road with a gate on the right side of the road.  If gate is unlocked, guests are welcome to come in to observe members flying.  Saturday and Sunday afternoon is the most likely day you may find activity at the field.

Directions from the I-64 (Teays Valley) Exit 39, take Route 34 towards Winfield. At intersection of Route 34 and Route 817 (Old Rt. 35) turn right at light.  Follow Route 817 and pass by Winfield High School.  Two miles past the high school you see an unmarked gravel road on the left.  If you reach Cannery Lane, you have traveled about 1/2 mile too far.
